35 Years of Cutting-Edge Battery Pack Design, Engineering, Manufacturing & Testing
Palladium Energy was founded as TDI Batteries in 1974, operating from Chicago. Ten years later, the company shifted focus to designing and manufacturing battery packs for OEMs in the mobile phone market.
In 2000, Tyco acquired the company, which opened its 35,000-sq. ft manufacturing, design and testing facility in Shanghai, China a year later. In 2003, the company began diversification into additional end markets, entering the Brazilian market with a manufacturing and testing facility in 2004.
In 2009, Marlin Equity Partners acquired the company and renamed it Palladium Energy. With the momentum of a long, 35-year history of excellence behind it, Palladium enters a new era in cutting-edge battery pack design, engineering, manufacturing and testing on a global scale, with facilities in the U.S., Brazil and China.
